The Education Task Force strives to encourage research of New Urbanist
topics by supporting academic and professional research with topic
suggestions, information resources, leads on funding, and networking
opportunities for people involved in such research. CNU has recently
updated its bibliography of academic articles and dissertations about New Urbanism. The recent update features a great deal of useful academic research and case study information.
Additionally, Lucy Rowland of the K-12 Initiative of the Education Task Force has produced a bibliography of resources for primary and secondary teachers to introduce students to the concepts of New Urbanism, Smart Growth, and traditional town planning. The bibliography can now be found online here.
