Dear [firstname], Today is the last day CNU members can cast their vote on
whether to approve the current version of the LEED for Neighborhood Development
(LEED-ND) 2009 rating system. CNU's first member ballot has been open for
30 days; it started on Wednesday, August 19, and will close at 5 p.m. PST
today, Thursday, CNU has partnered with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC) to lay out a system that rates and certifies green neighborhoods. After 6 years and many revisions, the three partner organizations are each conducting their own vote to approve it for public launch. CNU is asking its full membership to participate in this decision. Your input is important CNU and to the future direction of the new urbanist movement.
