With our annual Call for New Urban Research underway, CNU has already seen an incredible response from students, professors and planning professionals.
This year, the Call for New Urban research is focusing on papers that focus on the relationship between urban form and the built world. The intention is to deliver a summary of academic investigations concentrating on the roots of traditional or contemporary built forms, their physical manifestations, historical processes and social behavior.
Papers that are submitted to New Urban Research are examined by other academics and professionals in a blind analysis. All papers will be peer reviewed by two reviewers. Selected papers are published on CNU’s New Urban Research page and receive the honor of presenting their findings and ideas at CNU 20 May 9-12, 2012 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The deadline for submissions is December 2nd; however, for best consideration, individuals interested in submitting a paper should submit as early as possible. Please visit the 2012 New Urban Research webpage to find out more information and read over the submission guidelines.
Those interested in becoming reviewers of research papers should email callforpapers@cnu.org as soon as possible with information on their expertise and a short biography. Reviewers are matched with a subject area in their familiarity and required to review two papers. Reviewers should expect to receive papers by January 2, 2012 and have them returned by January 16, 2012.
