Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. of the U.S. Virgin Islands has signed an executive order advancing a plan to revitalize downtown Charlotte Amalie and ensure the historic town's economic vitality.
CNU mainstays Dover-Kohl & Partners were instrumental in creating the plan, having been selected by the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands via grant funding courtesy of the Richard H. Driehaus Charitable Lead Trust. The plan for Charlotte Amalie will ensure the vibrancy of the historic village by protecting traditional building methods, connecting pedestrian and transit networks, and revitalizing the waterfront.
