The Fairview neighborhood was built in 1918, based on the English Garden City concept, which uses the same walkable community ideas and open-space design standards as new urbanism. This is a beautiful small village within Camden with lots of open space, quaint winding streets and lots of trees. Fairview is one of the first planned communities in the United States and is listed on the local, state and national registers of historic places.
