CNU London Transportation Summit Gets Off to Fast Start

Today's 2007 Transportation Summit hosted by the Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment opened with a splash of press by the Telegraph.
We were treated to a tour of Kensington High Street, the Jubilee Line and Trafalgar Square.
More to come tomorrow from shared space experts Hans Monderman and Ben Hamilton-Baillie. Join the fun no matter where you are and keep up with the speakers by following the presentations at www.cnu.org/presentations. Look for 2007 Transportation Summit. Audio files are coming!
Here is a photo of a pedestrian crossing a street along Kensington High Street where officials have removed street signs and markings as part of shared space strategy to make the space a better environment for both pedestrians and drivers.
