American Chambers of Commerce: Sustainable Economic Development

In an article recently published in the ACCE Journal, Scott Polikov approaches the idea of how to achieve sustainable development and what it means for chamber executives who are working to increase the economic vitality, and quality, of life for their regions. Polikov starts with the question, "What Does it Take to Achieve Economic Development?" He then continues through the article with the notion of New Urbanism, Value Capture in context of town planning and development, while ending with a discussion of the Leander TOD Master Plan.
