Driving Down Real Estate: Will Higher Commuting Costs Kill the Suburbs?

In an interview for NPR in 2005, Daniel McGinn boasted "[My commute] may be the most profitable part of my day." In this Newsweek article, McGinn describes the effects that rising fuel costs have had on his 35-mile commute into Boston. Among many other helpful resources, McGinn incorporates CNU's comparisons of annual driving miles and driving costs in various walkable and driving-oriented communities.
