CNU members cause Twitter Sensation
Congratulations to CNU members — and CNU too — who helped make New Urbanism one of the leading source of urban tweets in 2009. According to Planetizen's Top Twitter Feeds on Urban Planning , a number of CNU members made the list of individuals tweeting news on planning issues. And CNU's NewUrbanism Twitter ffeed was listed in the top spot among non-profit organizations on the list.
For the latest news on architecture, design and green space check out Steve Mouzon's, John Massengale's, or Kaid Benfield'stwitter feeds or blogs. All of them (and other CNU members too!) write extensively with unusual and quite creative observations about the built environment. I've been amazed at how much I've learned reading them.
For the top feeds in walkable, bikeable places be sure to keep up with Dan Burden who facilitated CNU's Emergency Responder Workshop last Fall in Portland, OR. or Mike Lyon whose folding bike is always with him as he traverses the country.
Increasingly CNU events are the place to tweet and follow the latest in transportation reforms. As an example last fall's Transportation Summit which got more tweets than any other CNU event to date.

Looking forward to more tweets in 2010!
