Nickolai Group is Selected as Exclusive Agent for Woodbury Village, a 130 Acre Transit-Oriented Development Site

The Nickolai Group at Prudential Douglas Elliman has been awarded the title of exclusive listing agent for the largest transit oriented development in New York- Woodbury Village. Woodbury is a 130 acre site located between to the New York Thruway (I-87,) Conrail, Route 17M, and Averill Avenue. The site is designated as mixed-use; there are plans to include office, retail, and multi-family developments, including a hotel, entertainment venues, community space, and parks and recreation space. A specific portion of the site must remain as vacant land.

Transit oriented developments provide clustered communities around mass-transit. This provides for less traffic congestion and less harmful effects on the environment. As the economy has struggled in past years, TODs have proven their value and continue to grow. CNU's Live/Work/Walk initiative aims to eliminate financing restrictions that prevent walkable, urban neighborhoods from taking shape. In constrained times, it is encouraing to see the Nickolai Group moving forward with Woodybury Village.
