Several years ago, attorney Doris Goldstein and McGuireWoods LLP partner Dan Slone convened in Richmond, Va., to discuss the relationship of homeowner associations to the community. This discussion influenced the way dozens of “new urban” communities constructed their associations. Andres Duany, a leader of the New Urbanism movement, called the seminar the “best he had ever attended.”

It’s time to convene again. Dan and Doris will lead an exploration of best practices over the years and how we should approach HOAs in the future.
