Green Council Working Session
Saturday, April 5, 2008 9:45 AM - 12:30 PM
As a follow-up to the Green Council held in Alexandria, Va., this working session builds on work laid at this historic event. John Norquist presents a slideshow documenting how urbanism is a convenient remedy to climate change, resulting in less driving and better living. The session includes a presentation on the sustainability cannons authored by Elizabeth Moule, Stefanos Polyzoides, and Hank Dittmar. The assembled group will also discuss and advance a proposal to amend the Charter. Results from this work session will be reported on Sunday.
Hear an audio recording of this session and read the latest version of the the Canons of Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism. More content for this session will be coming soon.
