Description:
Community design affects the quality of local water resources, demand for water, and cost of water infrastructure. This session linked the basic relationships that bind water resources and site, neighborhood, and community design decisions. Speakers provided case studies and policy tools that can be used to coordinate water and new urbanist projects so they complement, rather than conflict with one another.
