This Pattern Book presents concepts and guidelines for designing and building houses that not only provide affordable accommodations for the future homeowner, but which also contribute positively and harmoniously to enhancing the character of the existing neighborhood or shaping the character of a new one. It provides graphic urban design tools that serve as guides for building, neighborhood design and development in hopes of enabling the organization to develop a range of neighborhoods, each with wide economic diversity.
