The Garden District
Location: Deland, Florida. Former semi-abandoned neighborhood used by drug dealers and customers
The rebuilding of a former crack slum adjacent to Downtown DeLand, FL and renaming it The Garden District. Michael E. Arth redid the district by rebuilding or renovating 30 homes and businesses. The project is featured in the feature documentary, New Urban Cowboy: The Labors of Michael E. Arth.
