Wednesday Evening Plenary
This informal plenary session with Austin Mayor Will Wynn and architect Sinclair Black showcased the city as a place of booming urbanism and cutting-edge green technology. Mayor Will Wynn discussed global warming and the city's efforts to curb the trend.
Stefanos Polyzoides presented Sinclair Black with the Athena Medal for Lifetime Achievement. Sinclair Black has been an active educator, urban designer, architect, and environmentalist throughout his professional career, striving to preserve the natural and man-made beauty of central Texas through his extensive efforts. To open this session CNU honored O'Neil Ford and Charles Moore for their outstanding contributions to architecture and urbanism.
