Happy Thanksgiving, and there is still much to be thankful for. We give thanks to our blessings, and with kindred spirits we move foward in the hopes of making our lives a little better for us and those around us. To better places, better streets, better cities, towns, and neighborhoods.

An unconventional perspective for the case on urbanism.

The image is a drawing done by the author, simply expressing visually what I would be seeing from the place I grew up. Looking back, I might wonder how I can look back further in time and see how a city like New York, and my "old" neighborhood came into existence, how it has changed and constantly evolved while the world has changed, and at the same time how it has remained unchanged in other ways.
